Speaker Profile - Dee D. Crsip, CCE
President and CEO of Government Employees FCU (GEFCU)

Dee CrispDee joined GEFCU January 6, 2014 as President/CEO. Prior to coming to GEFCU, he was the Vice President of Finance for United San Antonio Community Federal Credit Union (United SA FCU) for eight years where he managed the Accounting, Balance Sheet Management, IT, Investments, Financial Reporting, and Strategic Budgeting processes for the credit union. In addition, he served on the Board of Directors of the Alamo Chapter of Credit Unions in various positions, including President, from September of 2007 to December 2013. In 2010, Dee received his Credit Union Executive Society (CUES) Certified Chief Executive (CCE) Certification.

Prior to working for United SA FCU, Dee was with the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). He started at NCUA in 1986 as a field examiner in San Antonio, transferred to Houston in 1991 and moved back to San Antonio in 2000. Dee served as a Regional Training Specialist from November 1998 until he left the NCUA in December 2005. Prior to joining NCUA Dee was in public accounting in New Braunfels, Texas with Howard McElroy and Company, CPAs.
